King is a visual mixed media artist originally from Boston, currently living and working in New York City with an art studio at Mana Contemporary, NJ. She graduated from The Art Institute of Boston and has furthered her education at the New York Studio School, The School of Visual Arts, and The Art Students League. King is the recipient of awards for both her paintings and sculptures, and actively exhibits her work. Bedsides a fine art practice King has a background in scenic and decorative arts, and interactive design that has provided her with a broad visual vocabulary and the means to effectively communicate and generate her ideas in both figurative and abstract work.
